One of the most custom sportfishers on the West Coast, Motivator, has come to market, do not miss this opportunity to own a legendary platform. Initially built in Costa Mesa by Pacifica in 1982, Motivator underwent a complete and extensive 3.5 year refit at Basin Marine in 2006.
The hull, originally 50', was stretched to 54' with the additional footage being added to the cockpit. While at Basin Marine, the vessel was repowered and rewired while receiving new plumbing, new tanks, a new interior, new electronics, new metal work, Key Power stabilizers, new refrigeration/freezer capacity that rivals yachts double her size, and a bait system that is unmatched, plus much more.
No expense was spared in her refit, and she has been maintained with an open checkbook, and captain maintained, since the owners purchase in 1993.
Every single detail that could be conceived to improve fishability, redundancy, safety, range, storage and comfort was integrated into Motivator's build.
