Pacifica sportfishers have been chasing gamefish off both coasts for nearly two decades now, earning a devoted following among serious anglers and the reputation of being some of the most respected sportfishing boats around. This 48 has been repowered in 2016 with new Cummins electronic motors, new generator in 2018, and a turn key charter operation in San Diego.
This is a 1978 Pacifica that has received multiple upgrades throughout her life. Most recently, the boat was repowered with Cummins QSL 9 diesel engines in 2016. In 2018 a new 9.5KW Northern Lights generator was also installed.
The Interior has been refit to accommodate 6 passengers comfortably, with a large galley table, large built in settee, tackle storage, side by side refrigeration and overhead rod storage.
Downstairs has been reconfigured as well. At the bottom of the stairs to port are two over and under bunks, forward to starboard is a full head with shower. All the way forward is the V-berth area that has been reconfigured with 3 double bunks.
The Master stateroom is midships to Port and features a queen size berth and a double berth. There is an ensuite head with separate shower as well.
The cockpit on this boat is massive to say the least and has a 5 scoop bait tank to port and a 3 scoop tank to starboard. There is a large centerline fish hold and a 2 scoop bait tank on the transom.
The flybridge offers the latest in electronics and includes a Furuno sounder, Wesmar side scan sonar, Simrad autopilot, multiple VHF radios, 2-meter radio, and a Furuno chartplotter. There is also a large chest freezer.
The tuna tower on a Pacifica offers protection from the wind and offers a comfortable seating position for glassing.
