The P1 Panther was designed and built with performance in mind, as a single engine v-bottom. The Panther is the single design powerboat for the International P1 SuperStock racing series; but, with the removal of the rear cowling it converts to a full feature pleasure boat in less than 5-minutes.
Whether you are looking to compete on an international scale, run the poker-run circuits, or enjoy boating with the family, the Panther provides the best of all worlds in a small towable package.
The boat is a compilation of USA and European designers, with a Euro look, but capitalizing on the performance knowledge of the famed Fountain Powerboats factory and the legendary Reggie Fountain.
The initial design criteria was simple: 70mph capability with only 250hp; fit in a shipping container on its trailer; and retail for $100k - competition ready. Born in the 3D-CAD realm, the tooling was all produced via 5-Axis CNC technology.
The boats are available for sale or lease. Leases are available for those desiring to compete in the SuperStock series, and purchase options are available for pleasure or racing applications.
In addition to the used inventory, new-built boat manufacturing slots are available for racing or pleasure applications, custom configured for out-board or inboard power.
This boat includes the removable rear cowling, but is not equipped with the rear seat package. The rear seat package can be ordered at an additional cost.
The cockpit colors include: Black Carbon Fiber dash panels, and Black/Yellow Carbon texture upholstery on suspension racing bolsters.
This boat is a Generation 1 boat, built at the Fountain Powerboats factory in Washington, NC, featuring full composite construction, including stringers and transom. The boat is fully reinforced and rigged for racing, so it can handle completion and extreme recreational use.
