This rare shoal draft model featuring a custom workshop. "OL BUDDY" is ideal for sailing the East Coast US, Florida and the Bahamas with its 6' draft. Many extras were fitted during the build including watertight collision bulkhead forward, an extra layer of insulation in the hull, oversized ground tackle, additional storage lockers in owners cabin and extra handrails. Amenities include air con throughout, washer dryer, bow thruster, water maker, generator, electric sail handling and communications.
Easily sailed by a just a couple, the yacht has comfortable cruising room for six in three cabins. All sail handling is push button and executed from the safety of the cockpit. When not at sea, OL BUDDY has been looked after by a professional shore based captain who most recently has washed sails, varnished the teak rails, waxed the entire exterior, had the interior upholstery cleaned, and detailed bilges. All machinery has been serviced by authorized Yanmar and Westerbeke mechanics. The boat is looked after with a "preventive maintenance" schedule.
The hull bottom has been completely refreshed!!
