Paul Johansen is a 1970 75' Smedvik mek built Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue vessel converted to a private yacht in the mid-90's. Her present owner purchased her in 2012 and embarked on a multi-year refit, which continues until today. Her very passionate owner has invested in excess of $3 million to date to bring her to yacht quality standards. The Mahogany, Jotoba, Cherry Wood and rare granite used in the interior is beautiful.
She was originally classed Bureau Veritas, and the conversion and refit were completed to Bureau Veritas standards, but she is not presently classed. Make sure to read the full specifications thoroughly to appreciate the extensive, newer equipment inventory aboard. the electronics list alone is very impressive. Then, a personal inspection is the only real way to truly appreciate what a unique, well-built and equipped long-range passagemaker she is.
