Reviewed by Jeff Hammond

Overview

This boat is designed to provide comfort and versatility in all weather conditions, whether inclement or beautiful. With a beam of 27.5 feet, it offers ample space for family gatherings and socializing, accommodating up to 10 people comfortably. The design emphasizes practicality and livability, making it suitable for extended living aboard as well as day cruising.

Exterior Design and Deck Areas

The boat features a spacious aft platform free of fixed furniture to maximize the view of the sea and horizon. It includes a high-low platform with a 350-kilogram capacity that can accommodate a 3.4-meter tender equipped with remote control. The exterior layout incorporates the aft cockpit concept extended to the bow area, providing inviting seating arrangements for evening relaxation or dining. Large sun pads with substantial storage bins underneath enhance the usability of the deck space. The flybridge offers seating for up to 14 people along with extensive storage compartments, facilitating social gatherings and ease of movement.

Interior Living and Crew Accommodations

Inside, the boat is designed with family comfort in mind. There is a dedicated crew cabin on the starboard side featuring bunk beds, complemented by a crew head on the port side. The interior spaces are practical and spacious, supporting comfortable living aboard. The layout promotes easy flow with two staircases located on the port and starboard sides, improving accessibility and circulation throughout the vessel.

Bridge and Helm Station

The master helm station is thoughtfully designed to provide excellent visibility and control. The dual staircase arrangement allows the captain to have unobstructed views of all corners of the boat, enhancing maneuverability and safety. The helm area is spacious and equipped to manage the vessel efficiently.

Power and Performance

This boat is powered by diesel engines, with standard Yanmar 320 horsepower units delivering a top speed of 17 knots. An optional upgrade to 440 horsepower engines increases the top speed to approximately 22 knots. The hull is optimized for efficient power consumption, achieving fuel usage of about 35 liters per hour at cruising speeds of 9 to 10 knots. The boat carries two 250-gallon diesel tanks, providing a substantial cruising range. Additionally, a 4.5-kilowatt solar power option is available, enabling silent operation at anchor by powering air conditioning and refrigeration without the need for generators.

Manufacturer Background

The boat is produced by a Bulgarian family-owned company with a 30-year history in industrial manufacturing. Seven years ago, the company expanded into the yachting industry, establishing a 15,000-square-meter shipyard on the Dib River in Bulgaria. Currently, the yard produces about eight to ten units of this model annually, with plans to develop larger power catamarans measuring 62 and 78 feet. The company emphasizes quality fit-out, spacious layouts, and family-oriented design in its vessels.

Conclusion

This vessel stands out for its generous beam and thoughtfully designed spaces that prioritize family comfort and practical living. Its combination of efficient diesel propulsion, optional solar power, and versatile deck layouts make it well-suited for both cruising and extended stays aboard.
