Other Ocean Master boats for sale in Florida, United States
One of the first big outboard-powered center consoles when she was introduced in 1975, the Ocean Master 31 is a classic canyon runner with a production record seldom exceeded in her class. Built on a modified-V hull with a wide 10-foot, 6-inch beam, these boats have a reputation for being overbuilt. The hull is laid up with 20 layers of solid fiberglass, and the inner liner is glassed directly to the stringers and hullsides. Designed for the serious offshore angler, the deck layout boasts 90 square feet of fishing space aft of the console as well as a casting platform forward-enough room for three or four anglers. With her large 310-gallon fuel capacity, long runs offshore ranging from 300 to 400 miles are all in a normal day's work for the 31. Note that the hard chines were reconfigured in 1993, softening amidships and running all the way to the transom for a drier ride. In 1995 the deck was retooled, raising the sheer about 3 inches to form a deeper cockpit, and in 1998 the chines were widened and reversed, and the cockpit was completely redesigned with an insulated fish box forward and an in-deck livewell aft. Twin 225hp Yamaha outboards will top out at around 40 knots.
