Designed by Bill Dixon, U.K., to be a true time-less "classic" in every sense of the word this Novatec 60' Islander, built by one of the word's leading luxury yacht builders, provides up to 40% more interior space than competitors in her class and introduced the 'sky lounge' helm. Equipped for long range cruising. All of her systems are redundant creating a sense of safety not normally seen on a yacht of this size. She is low maintenance and uniquely economical, burning as little as 2 gallons of diesel an hour at an 8mph hull speed yet capable of a top speed of nearly 25. Her shallow draft makes her ideal for the Bahamas where she has frequented often and her huge interior, fully equipped gourmet galley and master suite layout with access to the fishing cockpit makes her an ideal live aboard. Remote controls that can operate vessel including a bow thruster from the cockpit makes for easy single-handed operation and docking.
