2004 Norvelle 3210 ExplorerCustom Aluminum Pilothouse | Complete Professional Refit | Twin 2025 Yamaha F250s | Bow Thruster | Raymarine Electronics | Trailer Included
Opportunities to purchase a true custom-built Pacific Northwest aluminum pilothouse are exceptionally rare. Even fewer have been professionally modernized to this level.
Built by Norvelle Boats in Nehalem, Oregon, the 3210 Explorer was never a high-volume production boat. Designed for serious offshore use and built with commercial-grade welded aluminum construction, these boats earned a reputation for strength, capability, and ride quality that continues to make them sought after by knowledgeable Northwest boaters. Unlike many production aluminum boats of its era, the Norvelle was built with heavy 5086-H116 marine-grade aluminum, robust structural framing, and a hull designed to handle demanding offshore conditions.
Over the past several years, this vessel has undergone an extensive professional modernization. Rather than simply replacing worn components, the owner invested in rebuilding nearly every major mechanical, electrical, and operating system. The result is a turnkey offshore platform that combines the strength of a proven custom hull with the reliability and technology of a much newer vessel.
Whether your plans include offshore tuna fishing, salmon, halibut, extended cruising, Alaska adventures, or commercial applications, this Norvelle is equipped and ready to go.

Construction
Unlike many production aluminum boats, the Norvelle 3210 Explorer was engineered as a heavy-duty offshore platform using premium marine-grade materials throughout.
Hull construction features:
- Welded 5086-H116 Marine Grade Aluminum
- Heavy .250" Bottom Plating
- .190" Hull Sides
- Welded Aluminum Structural Grid
- Welded Aluminum Bulkheads
- Deep-V Offshore Hull Design

- Heavy-Duty Welded Handrails
- Full-Length Welded Keel Protection
The hull was professionally media blasted before receiving new epoxy primer, premium marine topcoat, a new epoxy barrier system and fresh antifouling. The owner intentionally chose not to repaint the upper cabin structure, allowing the next owner to finish it in the color of their choice.
Power & Performance
Powering the Norvelle are twin 2025 Yamaha F250XB 4.2L V6 Four-Stroke outboards producing a combined 500 horsepower. With approximately 400 hours, the engines provide the performance and reliability buyers look for in a modern offshore platform.
Adding tremendous value and peace of mind, both engines are protected by Yamaha's Y.E.S. (Yamaha Extended Service) factory warranty through 2030, providing years of remaining factory-backed coverage.
The propulsion package is complemented by Yamaha electronic digital controls, digital engine instrumentation, SeaStar hydraulic steering, stainless-steel Yamaha Saltwater Series II propellers, Bennett hydraulic trim tabs, and a Vetus six-blade bow thruster, making the boat exceptionally easy to handle whether running offshore or maneuvering around the dock.
