Northcoast 92' "New Atlantic"
Pilothouse Motor Yacht with California Deck
NEW ATLANTIC is a singular expression of American custom yacht building-designed by naval architect Paul Frederickson and constructed by Northcoast Yachts in Tacoma, Washington. She is the only 92' Northcoast ever built, and one of only eleven custom yachts produced by the yard.
Purposeful in her design and quietly commanding in her presence, NEW ATLANTIC was conceived for serious coastal and offshore cruising, yet offers the warmth, scale, and comfort of a private yacht built without compromise.
Comprehensive Refit & Renewal (Completed 2026 | Delivered July 2026)
NEW ATLANTIC emerged in 2024 from an extensive multi-year refit that renewed nearly every major system, surface, and living space aboard. The program was overseen by Jeff Sanson of Pacific Yacht Management in Seattle, with major work completed at Delta Marine, including a sophisticated pilothouse redesign by acclaimed superyacht designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett (JQB, Ltd.)
The result is a yacht that feels both familiar and entirely renewed-honoring her original Northcoast pedigree while presenting with the confidence, systems, and refinement of a far more recent vessel.

NEW ATLANTIC is not simply a well-maintained yacht-she is a vessel that has been carefully renewed, thoughtfully modernized, and quietly elevated. Her character remains rooted in classic Northcoast design, while her systems and presentation reflect a yacht that has been brought forward with care, respect, and intent.
Built to explore from the glacier-carved fjords of Puget Sound, Alaska and British Columbia to the sun-drenched anchorages of Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Mediterranean, NEW ATLANTIC has fulfilled the dreams of her adventurous cruising owners. Her extraordinary cruising history reflects not only her blue water capability, but also the comfort, reliability, and confidence that define a truly exceptional motor yacht.
Every aspect of her design and outfitting was informed by real offshore use and extended coastal and ocean passages, resulting in a yacht that is exceptionally well balanced, thoughtfully engineered, and comfortable across a wide range of conditions.
Naval architecture by Paul Frederickson provides a proven foundation of efficiency, stability, and seaworthiness, while her classic Northcoast exterior lines present a timeless, purposeful profile that feels equally at home at sea or in harbor. Interior spaces are designed for long-term comfort, combining functionality with understated elegance throughout.
Measuring 92 feet overall, NEW ATLANTIC is built on a robust composite modified-V hull, delivering a soft, confident ride and predictable handling across a broad range of conditions.
A defining enhancement is her redesigned pilothouse, by Jonathan Quinn Barnett (2024), providing a protected, climate-controlled helm with exceptional visibility. This is complemented by a modern Garmin electronics suite, creating a highly capable command environment for extended offshore cruising and all-weather operation.
Power is provided by twin DDC MTU 12V2000 diesel engines, both completely overhauled and in-frame rebuilt, delivering 1,480 horsepower each at 2,300 RPM, with less than 600 hours since rebuild.
NEW ATLANTIC offers a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 12 knots and a top speed of approximately 24 knots, with an impressive range of approximately 3,400 nautical miles, providing true long-range cruising capability with confidence and efficiency.
Her NAIAD 302 hydraulic stabilizers provide precise roll control and a notably smooth, comfortable ride across a wide range of conditions, enhancing onboard comfort during both coastal cruising and extended passages. The result is a well-balanced platform offering performance, efficiency, and reliability, well suited to long-range cruising as well as confident coastal operation.
NEW ATLANTIC'S interior reflects a refined coastal and residential aesthetic, layered over traditional Northcoast cherry joinery, creating a warm, light-filled environment that balances classic craftsmanship with modern comfort.
There’s a consistent expression of American hand-crafted quality throughout, from crown moldings to finely hand-fitted materials and soft goods, where every detail speaks to a build philosophy centered on longevity, serviceability, and understated elegance.
This is not an interior designed for fleeting impression, but for enduring comfort and satisfaction over years of cruising.
The sliding aft salon door opens directly into the Main Salon from the fully covered aft teak deck, creating an effortless indoor–outdoor flow ideal for entertaining and extended time aboard. The full-beam Main Salon, measuring approximately 21’6,”offers exceptional volume and a more residential feel than a traditional motor yacht.
Architectural detailing is carried throughout the salon including custom coffered ceiling treatments and crown moldings, handcrafted layered valances, and decorative soffits. Five refinished wall sconces in the Main Salon, and additionally in the Day Head, Foyer, Primary and Guest Staterooms, add depth, warmth, and visual dimension throughout the vessel.
Expansive panoramic windows fill the space with natural light that accentuate the richness of the woodwork and the yacht’s meticulous detailing. Furnishings include a custom sofa and matching loveseat, along with two coordinating chairs from the Baker Bespoke Furniture Collection, upholstered in coastal-toned designer fabrics that enhance the relaxed yet refined onboard aesthetic.
A marble-topped ship’s buffet, detailed with a polished brass gallery rail and built-in crystal display, anchors the entertaining space forward of the salon. A full-service wet bar and adjacent formal dining area, with integrated China storage, create a refined setting for gracious onboard entertaining. The effect is a warm, inviting interior that reflects timeless craftsmanship, classic nautical elegance, and the enduring quality of a true custom-built yacht.
New Atlantic's gourmet galley is designed for extended cruising and refined onboard entertaining, combining residential-scale comfort with professional-grade capability. Surfaces are finished in elegant Taj Mahal quartzite, providing both durability and a warm, contemporary aesthetic that complements the yacht’s custom cherry interior and Stainless Steel Appliances.

Carefully proportioned and thoughtfully arranged, the space offers excellent sight lines, an ergonomic helm position, and seamless integration of navigation and vessel systems, functioning as a true command center in all operating conditions.
The centerline helm is finished with a leather-wrapped bullnose and surfaces and is equipped with a state-of-the-art Garmin electronics suite and Yacht Controller system. Dual Stidd pedestal helm chairs, upholstered in custom leather, provide exceptional comfort and visibility underway.

Teak and holly sole, custom leatherwork surfaces, and an expanded navigation station, with chart storage drawers, complete the arrangement, reinforcing the Pilothouse as both a functional operating environment and a refined onboard gathering space.
Finished to the same exacting standard as the remainder of the interior, the Pilothouse is fully climate-controlled and offers exceptional visibility, comfort, and long-range operational confidence. Rich cherry joinery and refined overhead detailing create a calm, fatigue-reducing environment ideally suited for extended offshore passages.
Whether navigating offshore, observing wildlife, or simply enjoying the horizon, this elevated space reinforces NEW ATLANTIC’s identity as a capable, all-weather cruising yacht—confident, purposeful, and beautifully executed.
The full-beam King Sized Primary Stateroom is a private coastal retreat, finished in rich cherry, offering generous volume, a calm residential atmosphere and sitting area.
A plush King mattress, new in (2024) sits in a rich cherry sculpted island base, with upholstered headboard, integrated nightstands, overhead refinished sconces, and under-the-bed storage. And 8-drawer dresser and 2 full sized, his and hers cedar-lined hanging lockers add significant storage. Subtle accent and rope lighting, create a warm and layered ambiance suited to extended time aboard.
Natural light is precisely controlled through Hunter Douglas Silhouette window treatments, layered with custom-fitted valances seamlessly integrated into the yacht’s architectural joinery, allowing the suite to transition effortlessly from bright daytime openness to a calm, private evening atmosphere.
Primary Ensuite
The ensuite is arranged in a distinctive his-and-her configuration, featuring separate port and starboard Headhunter Royal Flush heads, mirrored marble vanities, joined by a central marble bathing area with a jacuzzi tub. This layout creates a private spa-like environment rarely found in yachts of this size, emphasizing both comfort and thoughtful spatial design.
Details & Finishes
Throughout the suite, refined architectural detailing reflects the yacht’s bespoke construction. All rich cherry joinery was re-varnished in 2024, with multiple coats of finish, restoring depth and warmth throughout. Original brass nautical rope hardware was re-plated, and all lighting elements were renewed or restored in keeping with the yacht’s original design intent.
Silhouette shades, custom layered valances, new carpet, new wallpaper, and a new headliner were all installed in 2024 as part of a comprehensive interior renewal overseen by Pacific Yacht Management.
Subtle heritage details—including the gold-leaf ceiling above the foyer and the hand-carved compass rose in the marble inlay—remain defining architectural features that speak to the yacht’s custom pedigree and owner-focused design philosophy.
Additional accommodations for family and guests are positioned aft of the foyer and include mirrored port and starboard queen guest staterooms. Two Queen ensuite Guest Staterooms feature rich cherry queen island berths, set into a sculpted island base, with new mattresses (2024) and upholstered headboards, each with integrated nightstands, refinished sconces, under-the-bed storage, with rope lighting, 4-drawer dresser bureau storage and cedar-lined hanging lockers.

These spaces reflect the yacht’s overarching design philosophy—timeless materials, intelligent spatial planning, and finishes selected to age gracefully while maintaining a refined residential character throughout.
The results are staterooms that feel more akin to private master suites than traditional guest cabins—quiet, comfortable, and impeccably finished, reflecting the enduring quality and thoughtful design for which Northcoast yachts are known.
