This American built motor-yacht was custom built for it's one owner in 2002. His vision was of a 84'yacht that had the room and comfort of a 100' vessel but without the expense and maintenance costs. So, he commissioned a design with larger staterooms, heads and common areas that achieved those goals. The owner passed away in 2007, and as a result there are only 2400 hours on the engines which, along with the rest of the yacht, have since been maintained by the same captain. There are three comfortable staterooms with four heads (his and hers in the master suite), plus captain and crew quarters aft. Potential additional sleeping capacity could be available if guest quarters are revised to include bunks and a sofa sleeper could be added to the salon.Sailbad the Sinner was created by naval architect Paul Frederickson. As designer Frederickson stated"the yacht harkens back to a classical American design , but it's just as contemporary looking today as the first one made in 97. When you are investing in a yacht of this magnitude, the design should have longevity.".She has twin screw Detroit/MTU Model 12V2000 1480 horsepower engines with twin Disc 2.45-1reduction gears allowing her extra bursts of speed when desired. There isn't another 84' yacht with the unique characteristics and comfort as Sailbad the Sinner, so make sure to schedule a visit to personally inspect her before the summer cruising season is in full swing!
