RONNY RAYE
1991 Nordlund 68
Ronny Raye is an excellent example of a Nordlund built, Ed Monk Jr. designed yacht. Ronny Raye has been extensively cruised in SE Alaska by a knowledgeable owner. Ronny Raye has a beautiful flag blue painted hull and a custom hard wall, three sided fly bridge enclosure.
Ronny Raye has some recent upgrades and maintenance completed. A short summery of some of these updates include:
- Stabilizer Seals
- New Anchor Windlass
- Freezer Compressor and Motor
- Time Zero Navigation
- Starlink
- 40hp Yamaha for Dinghy
- New High Pressure Pump for Watermaker
- Deck Paint
The Nordlund 68 is an enhanced version of the 63, the cockpit was extended 5' to provide a longer waterline for efficiency as well as proper aesthetics. In addition the cockpit is ideally suited for entertaining.
Entering in from the cockpit, Ronny Raye has a large salon with large windows and an L-shaped settee on the starboard side. Just forward of the salon is the galley that is open to the salon, wonderful for entertaining guests.
The pilothouse of Ronny Raye is a wonderful space to take in all the surroundings while cruising. With dual helm chairs and a U-Shaped settee, the captain and guests can enjoy the space while navigating to the next amazing destination.
Ronny Raye has 3 cabins and 2 heads forward. With a full beam primary cabin, it will spoil the owner being midship and in the most comfortable spot on the yacht. Forward is the impressive VIP cabin as well as a bunk room with over-under bunks, both of these cabins share the second head.
The engine room of Ronny Raye has standup headroom and accessed through the aft bulkhead in the primary cabin. The utility space with freezer and washer/dryer is located just forward of the engine room bulkhead providing a great buffer from sounds into the accommodations level.
Ronny Raye has a custom hard sided fly bridge enclosure built by Superior Marine in Wrangell AK. This dramatics improves the use of this helm and it's 4 season capability. Aft of the fly bridge is the boat deck with the Novurania 14' RIB and hydraulic davit crane. The flybridge and boat deck can be access via an interior staircase from the pilothouse or via a ladder from the cockpit.
Some of Ronny Raye's notable features are:
- Yacht Controller
