This Nimble 30, a Tom Norton design was constructed by Brian Howell. She is a cold molded, natural finish mahogany/epoxy hull with Hall Spars aluminum mast and boom. She spent the first 20 years of her life as a little used daysailer until 2012, when she underwent a major upgrade to a modern Spirit of Tradition and PHRF racer/cruiser - now in "better than new" condition. She has been stored indoors every winter since the re-fit, and is in pristine condition. You get the best of both worlds - the beauty and build quality of wood, but being cold molded, the boat is finished in super hard epoxy so care and maintenance are the same as a standard fiberglass boat. Must be seen to appreciate!
