ACCOMMODATIONS: ACADIA has a unique arrangement forward; a double berth lays to starboard; aft and to starboard is a head which is opposite hanging lockers to port. The galley is L-shaped and to port and a converting dinette is opposite. Up 2 steps is a large pilothouse with companionway steps aft leading to the cockpit. A U-shaped dinette is to port and looks to starboard. It is slightly elevated so there is good 360 degree visibility from the dinette settee. A chart table is forward and to starboard in the pilothouse; there is a teak eyebrow full athwart, forward and above the helm position giving the helmsman easy visual access to flushmounted instruments. Other electronics are mounted conveniently on the right hand of the helmsman flushmounted on the shelf over an array of built-in teak lockers. Down 2 steps and to starboard is a private aft head with stall shower and then a generous, full-athwartship aft cabin with centerline double berth, opening portlights, desk and seat. New upholstery & mattresses in forward & aft cabins, '99; new upholstery pilothouse & dinette, '99.
GALLEY: In 1999 the refrigerated top-loading ice box was professionally rebuilt with a special heat shield and refrigeration foam. A new Corian counter top was installed at the same time. Force 10 stove w/oven & broiler, gimbaled '99; stainless steel double sink w/pressure hot & cold fresh water; technautic holding plate system refrigerator and freezer.
ELECTRONICS: A JVC TV & Toshiba VHS 4 head are installed in the starboard side lockers in the pilothouse. Furuno 31 GPS, new '99, interfaceable to computer; VDO instruments; speed log, depth, wind speed and direction are all repeated in cockpit.
