This cold mold gaff rigged ketch is a replica of an Atlantic Coastal freighter from the turn of the 19th century above the water line, 32' on deck with a 10' jib boom. Below the waterline her design was contemporary for the year she was built, 1984.
While true to her historic design, she has new electronics, air conditioning and a Volvo diesel engine and a feathering Max prop.
She has an open and bright cabin design with 6' standing room, head forward and can sleep five. Her lifelong owner was passionate about maintaining her above and below deck. She is a beauty to see with working lanyards and deadeyes. Both masts are stepped on deck; the foremast is set in a tabernacle with a pin for easy lowering to navigate canals and low clearances.
