AccommodationsThe Monk McQueen 65 Sedan Bridge was designed as a capable Pacific Northwest cruising yacht with an emphasis on comfort for extended stays aboard. Stepping into the main salon from the spacious aft deck, you're welcomed by a bright, open living area finished in rich varnished wood and surrounded by large windows that provide excellent natural light and panoramic water views. Comfortable seating, handcrafted cabinetry, and generous headroom create a warm, comfortable atmosphere ideal for entertaining or relaxing after a day underway. The lower helm offers exceptional visibility underway while being incorporated into the main salon. The salon flows seamlessly into a well-appointed galley featuring extensive counter space, full-size refrigeration, stove and oven, microwave, stainless-steel sinks, and abundant storage. Adjacent dining accommodations comfortably seat six guests, making the yacht equally suited for family cruising or extended liveaboard use. Forward of the galley is a comfortable VIP Guest cabin with twin berths and separate head and shower compartment which also doubles as a day head. Below aft, the owner's stateroom occupies the full beam, offering a king size island berth, abundant hanging lockers and drawers. A head with a separate shower serves both the owner's cabin and the third guest stateroom which has twin bunks. Throughout the yacht, large spaces, thoughtful storage solutions, quality joinery, opening ports and overhead hatches make the CAPESTERE a pleasure to cruise. The engine room provides ample space on all sides to maintain the twin engines and twin generators with storage for spares and equipment. A work bench, grinder vise and other tools make for ease of effort.  Forward of the engine room is storage for additional equipment that we all seem to collect as we cruise. The large flybridge is accessed via the aft deck and has ample room for guests to enjoy the scenery while giving the captain excellent visibility. The wide side decks, aft deck and foredeck are all one and allow for easy handling of fenders, lines and anchoring equipment. The large swim grid is equipped with staple rails allowing comfortable access to and from dinghy or dock.
