This beautiful classic yacht has live-a-board status in an ideal waterside slip with a beautiful view of Portage Bay just off Lake Union at Cascade Marina on Boat St in Seattle's University District.
LUX SOLIS is a handsome and well-built classic express bridge cruiser designed by a well known naval architect Ed Monk Sr. and built here in Seattle by Nels Freeman US. She is in excellent overall condition and has been well cared for throughout her years.
She is propelled by twin inboard 220-hp Detroit Deisel 6V-53 marina diesel engines turning bronze propellers though Borg Warner reversong gears with Walter V-drives. She runs great and is still used regularly and ready to go. The current owner is a diesel mechanic and keeps her well maintained and serviced regularly.
She was hauled and surveyed very recently in late April 2026 and the owner took care of any deficiencies that were noted.
LUX SOLIS is a beautiful piece of local marine history and a perfect live-a-board platform in the sought after University District close to UW, downtown Seattle, and Lake Union with moorage is available and transferrable to her new owners with BoatWorld Marinas.
She has 2 cabins and 2 heads, fore and aft, conected with a spacious open concept main cabin with L shaped galley. A very nice live-a-board arrangement for a steal of a price.
