The timeless MJM 34z is� known for its dry, responsive, sporty and comfortable ride.� Designed by Doug Zurn and built by Boston BoatWorks the 34 is the brainchild of Bob Johnstone (J Boats) and his wife Mary as they worked together to create a downeast pocket cruiser that was well-built, fast, efficient, comfortable and attractive. She comfortably seats 6 in the pilothouse which can be opened up on all sides with the opening windshield windows and roll up aft and side glass.� With the single Yanmar and bow and stern thrusters she is easy to maneuver around the docks single handed and easy on the pocketbook with no exposed exterior varnished wood and simple systems.
Liberty� is the 2nd to last 34z in the storied modelâ��s production run (64 of 65) and also has the distinction as having been originally built for former MJM owner Bob Johnstone himself. � She incorporates all of the design and feature improvements that the 34z had over her successful production period. More recently, Liberty has seen notable updates like electronics, canvas, cushions, batteries, and has been stored indoors for the offseason.
- Helm deck Ultraleather cushions were recently replaced and are in like-new condition
- Full Strataglass and Stamoid enclosure recently replaced and in excellent condition
- New Raymarine Axiom electronics
- Two new transducers (1kW Airmar and 1000 watt Raymarine)
