It is based upon the class-leading 411 Meridian Sedan that shook up the industry upon its introduction in 2002 with its two stateroom, two head layout; bow and stern thrusters; and cockpit engine ingress hatch.
The 441 improves on the already nearly perfect. She incorporated the over/under salon windows from the later Meridian designs, a more functional galley, more storage throughout, a fixed, forward facing cockpit seat, an enhanced flybridge layout with entertainment center, much more seating, and an expanded helm and dash. Most notably, Meridian offers the Integrated Vessel Control system in the 441. This integrates the operation of the electronic shifters, bow and stern thruster into one, intuitive joystick, while still giving you the option of operating any of the three systems independently.
