Why select "Miss Lollie B" over other listings:
Been doing this for 23 years and will stake my name on you not finding a better cared for, better condition, or better running offering in this SE quarter of the US! This is a one owner, kept under cover its entire life, and has had the total care service from Marine Max since day one boat! All service records available. It just looks new!
Meridians are designed and built by SeaRay at the SeaRay Yacht Plant in Palm Coast Florida. The Meridian line holds the record as the most popular Sedan Bridge brand on the planet - they sell more Sedan Bridge boats than any other manufacture!
The Meridian 391 Sedan Bridge represents one of the most versatile layouts of any production model in this size range. The expansive interior volume features two "Master" sized staterooms each with separate access to its head, allowing for maximum privacy for both owners and guests. There is plenty of sleeping space on board for six and has a dedicated dinette across from the galley.
The cockpit helm is equipped with the customary "top of the line" marine electronics plus: Auto Pilot, Color Radar, Twin RayMarine GPS Nav displays, large depth readout, SmartCraft engine display, and VHF radio, all positioned ergonomically for the discerning Captain with visibility from the helm being excellent both forward and aft. The aft leaning fiberglass arch and clean style lines running from the bow to the trailing end of the swim deck provides the classic and timeless appearance that Meridians are known for.
The command bridge helm station offers an adjustable bucket type helm seat with a wet bar with sink on the port side and refrigerator on the starboard for handy refills and reduces traffic down below. The spacious double bench "co-pilot" seating is across on the port side with an L- shaped lounge passenger seating aft with a removable table for dining.
The interior layout offers forward and to port a well-equipped galley with abundant storage. The dinette area is across on the starboard side is raised for excellent visibility with seating for four and convertible to a double birth. The visibility from the salon, galley, and raised dinette is excellent with a full 360 degree panoramic view.
Aft of the Galley and raised dinette is the formal living room (salon) with another L-shaped sofa sleeper to starboard and across to port are two single chairs. The entertainment components are start of the art with built in surround-sound. Lighting is also well placed and plentiful.
Forward access to the bow is provided via wide port and starboard walk ways with good hand holds all the way forward. As all Meridians are built for world cruising, the deck hardware is substantial both in quality and quantity being strategically located for ease of securing the vessel in docking and anchoring. The diamond cut pattern deck non-skid is throughout and offers sure footing and ease of cleaning. Copious storage abounds.
The transom door is positioned on the port side for access to the fiberglass swim platform which offers an integrated pull out and down swim boarding ladder and hot and cold transom shower. This arrangement makes for a one straight line from swim platform to the salon entrance glass sliding doors, and that makes it easy when you're bringing a week's worth of groceries. Abundant cockpit storage lockers, convenient catch bins, and drink holders are located throughout.
Owner regrettably has to pass this gem onto another loving owner. Initial delivery (warranty start date) was on 25 April 2011 and she has less than 190 hours on the hobbs. From commissioning, monthly service was provided by the factory trained experts at MarineMax Clearwater with all service records available.
With a pair of optional 380-hp Cummins QSB 6.7L engines driving our test boat we reached a top speed at 3158 rpm of 30 mph even. At that speed we were burning a total of 37.9 gph giving us a range of 249 miles.
Best cruise is a bit surprising. Backing the throttle down to 2500 rpm and 19.6 mph only increased the range by 1 mile, and it stayed the same at 2750 rpm and 23.9 mph. For the short runs it does pay to drop the speed, as the fuel burn will be less, but for distance cruising, go ahead and cruise at full speed.
We reached planing speed at 6.7 seconds, and accelerated through 20 mph in 8.6 seconds.
One characteristic Meridian Yachts all seem to share, is their excellent ability to carve through waves. Aside from their accommodations layout, this is one of the key features that make them such excellent cruising yachts.
