A Must See to appreciate 50'/48 McKinna Pilot House Motor Yacht. By far the nicest of its make and in excellent condition showing as a much newer vessel, than its age and very low hours, this vessel has been upgraded and well maintained and is LLC owned.
The narrow walk around makes for a wide spacious salon with windows port and starboard. There are sliding doors that open to the cockpit gives you a 180-degree view.
The galley has been upgraded with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer and an induction cooktop. The galley and heads have been beautifully designed with custom backsplashes.
The bridge has a permanently mounted table and six chairs for under the stars dining or fun cruising. The pilot house offers ease of operation if the weather changes. Rarely do you find a vessel of this size that not only is a good cruising vessel but also would make a very nice live aboard.
The first thing you notice upon boarding this vessel from the stern is a custom boarding platform which is at dock height making it much easier for boarding avoiding stepping down on the swim step and then back up a ladder. There is a large boarding gate in the stern and once on board and in the cockpit, you notice the stern controls with shifters and bow thruster control. forward in the cockpit you have all glass doors that open from center, and you enter into a very bright and Airey salon with cross seating, flat screen TV and a electric fireplace. In the salon you fine wrap around windows with pull down shade, mood lighting, new furniture with reclining couch and two European swivel chairs.
The salon as well as the galley has been very tastefully re done with marine grade equipment. The galley is a large U-shaped configuration with a large full sized two door refrigerator/freezer with indoor ice dispenser, trash compactor, convection Microware and two burner induction cooktop, with custom back splash.
To Starboard and up three steps you enter the Pilot House which has a access door to the forward deck to starboard, which gives you access to the foredeck with electric windless and stainless anchor. At center line of the pilot house is the helm and a large L shaped settee to port for guest seating or dining. The helm has a complete set of dual controls, Garmin GPS Chart plotter Combination screen, Radar and Auto pilot.
Access to the flybridge just starboard of center aft. On the flybridge you will find a enclosed hem area, L shaped seat and a complete duplication of the lower helm electronics. Aft of the enclosed helm is a fixed table with six chairs for entertainment or dining under the stars. The top deck also has a electric davit for a tender if the buyer wishes.
Forward on the starboard side of the pilot house are the steps down to the staterooms below deck. Also in this area is the ship electric panel, which are back lt for ease sight as well as the inverter controls.
Upon arriving to the lower deck, you have the guest/day head to the port side with the VIP forward. The VIP stateroom has a centerline walkaround berth with dual hanging locker and ample storage.
Aft you have a very spacious Master stateroom with the berth athwartship, hanging lockers and a washer/dryer inside of one of the cabinets, which the current owners have never used, so its condition is not known. To starboard you have the master head which is large and a large Walkin shower.
