This beautiful, Limited Edition Maxum 4600 offers unbeatable value in her price range. The two stateroom open floor plan, wrap around settee and entertainment center creates a welcoming and inviting feel to the salon area. Both heads feature separate stall showers. The large enclosed flybridge provides ample seating, complete with a serving bar, sink and cabinet. Twin Cummins Diesels provide solid performance, reliability & economy.
The "Limited Edition" Maxum 46-LE offers "European Sport Cruiser" styling, layout and elegance, at a fraction of the cost...with the simplicity and reliability of an American boat builder! This highly desirable "LE" is an upgraded version of the popular Maxum 46. The interior is quite grand in comparison, with a stunning, high-gloss cherry finish, luxurious fabrics, and black Corian countertops. The fit and finish is several steps above the standard model. The LE has a lot more "sizzle", and improvements that were lacking in the original version.
Built only in 2001/2002, the rare "LE" model included a fiberglass hardtop on the bridge, higher horsepower 450 Cummins diesels, dripless shaft seals, Airsep filtration systems, 110V power inverter, a larger 12.5KW genset, and Microcommander Electronic engine controls. The enclosed flybridge provides a whole extra "room" of living space. The hardtop gives better protection from heat, cold, or rain.
The salon and cockpit are adjoining, separated by floor to ceiling glass doors...expanding the main living area on one convenient level. It is bright and open, with views all around.
The SALON features a C-shaped leatherette settee to starboardw hich converts to a very comfortable bed, and a loveseat opposite to port. . The entertainment center includes a 40" flat screen ROKU TV , and a Bose system, The overhead has contoured soffits with recessed halogen lighting. Some lights are on dimmer switches, so you can set the mood just right. Additional features include a high-gloss cherry finish on cabinetry; reverse-cycle air/heat, pleated shades.
The RAISED DINETTE is forward to starboard. It allows guests to enjoy 360-degree views while dining in climate-controlled comfort or open the opposing side sliding windows for fresh air. There is laminate "teak and holly" flooring under the dinette, and the "black granite" table-top matches both galley counters and cocktail table. Below the raised dinette is the electrical panel with switch geart for the 12v DC and 110v AC circuits as well as the generator operating controls and guage set.
The MASTER STATEROOM is forward and features a queen sized island berth, ample lighting an ventilation, and plenty of storage. There is a separate air/heat unit for year-round comfort. Overhead hatch and opening portlights on either side provide the natural ventilation.There is a Sharp TV, and a separate stereo system. The lockers are cedar lined and have autoswitch lighting.
The ensuite master-stateroom HEAD is very spacious, and has a separate stall shower, (with bath-tub!) Corian counter/sink, mirrored medicine cabinet, exhaust fan, an opening port, and a vacu-flush head system.
The GUEST STATEROOM has two side by side single berths, which can be converted to one king-size berth. There is one large hanging locker. There are reading lights above each berth. The utility/pump room is accessed through a panel on the inboard bulkhead. There is also a handy utility closet adjacent to the sleeping area.
The GUEST HEAD has a separate stall shower, a Vacu-flush head, and a Corian counter & sink. Additional features include a porthole for natural ventilation, exhaust fan, mirrored cabinet, and quality towel racks and hardware.
he galley is forward and to port of the salon, and opposite the dinette table, so the cook can keep in the conversation with guests. The countertops are a Corian with a dramatic black-granite finish. The flooring is teak and holly; there is ample storage.
