This 46 Maxum 4600 SCB 1998 is in very nice condition and has been professionally kept by a knowledgable owner and yachtsman. This is one of the best and earliest examples of a brand of "Sport Yacht" that was the next big innovation in yachts in this size range. The first earlier was in the express cruiser. The Euro Style sport yacht has made Flybridge yachts, stylish, sexy, sporty and fast. And in todays market this is the most sort after yacht style in the new generation of mid sized up in to large yachts and mega yachts.
Maxum has always been known for building reasonably priced quality yachts which competed directly with all the other industry leaders in the American boating and yachting market.
On this particular 46 Maxum, the exterior is in good condition. She presents well and has been shed kept in a southern climate. Her helm station sits almost midship just aft of mid. The helm is well laid out and it is comfortable. It is accented with wood veneer paneling. Full instrumentation is accessible and views easily. Visibility is excellent and affords a good clear 360' view. A bimini top provides some shade and sun protection.
The aft cockpit is reasonably good sized and comfortable. Access to the cockpit is through a center transom door off the swim platform. The salon is a nice size for a yacht this size and she feels warm, upscale and comfortable. There is an abundance of cherry paneling and trim. She sports a TV, entertainment system, carpeting, is bright and airy. And a dinette is comfortable and much appreciated for all meals. The galley is down with a good amount of counter space.
This is a two guest cabin layout with the guest cabin to starboard and the master stateroom forward with a good sized centerline queen berth. This is a really comfortable master cabin and her new owner can look forward to longer cruising or short weekends in comfort and style.
