2026 Maverick 17 HPX-S, 2026 Maverick 17 HPX-S: The "Super" Skinny Water Specialist

When the goal is to reach water so shallow it barely covers your ankles, the 2026 Maverick 17 HPX-S is the undisputed champion. Often referred to as the "Super Skinny" model, the HPX-S is specifically engineered to float in less than 6 inches of water, making it the most lethal tool in the lineup for stalking redfish and bonefish in the tightest, shallowest back-country.

Built using Maverick's signature VARIS (Vacuum-Assisted Resin Infusion System), the 17 HPX-S is a lightweight marvel. Despite its minimal weight, the advanced hull architecture provides a surprisingly dry and stable ride, even when navigating the breezy chop of an open bay. Its compact size and technical poling platform allow for unmatched precision, letting you maneuver through winding mangrove creeks with total stealth.
