The MasterCraft X-45 is one of the best-selling wakeboard boats for good reasons!
The wide-open main seating area and bow seating are massive, enabled by the boat's fork-shaped nose. Between the main cockpit's deep wraparound seating and the impossibly wide bow at 75 inches, it's one of the widest made.
The MasterCraft X-45 seats 18, making having fun with four families possible. MasterCraft makes the most of all that space, with billet aluminum accents and a driver's seat that is heated as well as a heater for the boat.
The wake on the MasterCraft X-45 is great mostly because of the boat's maxed-out 102-inch beam. It gets wide pretty quickly, but all you have to do is dial in your rope length and charge it. The boat comes with 3 ballasts. Two in the rear and 1 in the front.
The seller is getting out of the boating business for a few years, and a lot of what is in the boat will go with it.

Overview
The Mastercraft X45 is a versatile watercraft designed to cater to families who enjoy a variety of water sports, including water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. It offers the capability to create both large wakes for aerial tricks and smooth wakes suitable for slalom skiing, making it a well-rounded choice for diverse recreational activities on the water.
Exterior Design and Deck Layout
The X45 features a squared-off Superfly bow that maintains the wave-flattening benefits of a traditional V-hull while providing additional deck space for passengers and gear. The boat measures 24 feet 2 inches in length and 8 feet 6 inches in width, with a weight of 4,600 pounds. Its wide bow accommodates a spacious seating area, a forward swim deck equipped with a telescoping ladder, and anchor storage. The aft section includes a large circular seating arrangement with ample storage beneath the seats and a built-in cooler, creating a comfortable social space with excellent views of wakeboard and ski activities. It achieves optimal fuel efficiency at 27.9 miles per hour, consuming 2.25 miles per gallon and offering a range of approximately 182 miles. The inboard V-drive transmission positions the engine at the stern, allowing for a shallow draft of just 28 inches and providing smooth, responsive steering. The test model was equipped with Mastercraft's saltwater package, featuring a heat exchanger-cooled engine that circulates antifreeze rather than seawater, enhancing engine longevity and reliability in marine environments.
Wakeboarding and Ballast System
The X45 is equipped with a sophisticated ballast system comprising three tanks that collectively add around 1,000 pounds of lake water to the boat, enabling the creation of substantial wakes suitable for wakeboarding and other tow sports.
