Overview

Mastercraft introduces the X2, the second model in its series of ten X boats designed specifically for wakeboarding and skiing. This 20-foot vessel with a 96-inch beam is crafted to accommodate a full group of friends, emphasizing fun and social engagement on the water. Its distinctive design elements, such as the rounded tumblehome stern and the pronounced superfly pickle fork bow, set it apart visually and functionally.

Exterior Design and Deck Features

The X2 features luxurious wraparound bench seating in the cockpit, allowing passengers to view the action from nearly any angle, complemented by expansive superfly bow seats for additional comfort. The turned swim platform serves as an ideal launching pad for wakeboarding activities. Below the swim platform, precision-calibrated surf tabs can be deployed to create a tall, drag-inducing wake, enhancing the wakeboarding experience. The boat’s stepped hull and hard chines contribute to its performance and handling, while cutting-edge graphics and carefully sculpted curves and grooves define its unmistakable Mastercraft style.

Power and Performance

Standard propulsion for the X2 is provided by a 320 horsepower Ilmor 5.7-liter fuel-injected V8 engine paired with a V-drive conventional propeller. An optional upgrade to a 382 horsepower 6-liter Ilmor engine is available. Both powerplants run efficiently on unleaded 87 octane fuel and come with a five-year emissions warranty and a three-year limited engine warranty. Weighing approximately 3,500 pounds, the X2 is easily towable. The boat is manufactured in Mastercraft’s 250,000 square foot facility in Vanura, Tennessee, where each model undergoes extensive testing to ensure quality and performance.
