Designed by Cherubini, the Hunter 33 is a moderately displaced coastal cruiser noted for her stability and stiffness and a decent and good performer. First introduced in 1977 she is known for her classic lines with a full-bodied hull, a long fin keel for tracking and a spacious teak interior for family cruising. The masthead rig provides balanced power. The aft cockpit seats 4-6 sailors comfortably. She's praised for her seaworthiness and roomy accommodations. She sleeps 5-6 between settee berths, quarter berth & double forepeak berth.
There is a chart table and cabin table. The standing rigging was replaced in 2023. Her 8' self-bailing cockpit has 3 storage lockers. Fresh water only boat. Engine receives annual maintenance.
The happy owner says: Dela is equipped with everything a day sailor, coastal cruiser or family could need to begin or increase their sailing adventures. A galley full of utensils, dishes, glasses, serving dishes and supplies, linens, brand new custom made cabin and deck cushions and fun tastefully chosen decorative pillows! We have had Dela for almost 20 years. We are the third owners and have many days and weekends enjoying easy sails and wonderful days. It is hard for us to think about not spending time on her, but our time is coming to an end. Dela is a stable, solid boat that handles beautifully during a gusty, spirited sail or quiet sunset cruise. Hopefully another family of sailors will enjoy many days on her decks watching the breezes fill her beautiful sails.
