Overview

The Manitou 25 Legacy is a premium luxury pontoon boat that combines durable construction with thoughtful design features. The latest model introduces color-matched powder-coated rub rails, top rails, and panels, enhancing both weather resistance and aesthetic appeal. This vessel is designed to offer a high level of comfort and utility, making it well-suited for entertainment and recreational activities on the water.

Exterior Design and Deck Features

The exterior of the 25 Legacy is marked by a sturdy aluminum powder-coated arch that serves multiple purposes, including towing and supporting the bimini top. This arch conveniently folds away for trailering or storage. Navigation lights are integrated into the tow-bit atop the arch. The deck is covered with vinyl-simulated teak in a gray color scheme, complemented by an optional seagrass mat with stainless steel snaps to reduce slipping when wet. The stern platform is spacious, featuring a stainless steel tow bar and a four-step telescoping boarding ladder on the starboard side for water sports access. Blue LED accent lighting is strategically placed along seat backs, at the base of seating groups, and within stainless steel cup holders, enhancing nighttime ambiance. Additionally, underwater lighting is available as an option.

Seating and Storage

The boat features the new SRS seating group with deep cushions and high backs made from high-quality marine-grade vinyl accented with color-coordinated fabric and welting. The portside seating can be configured as a chaise lounge with lift-up armrests or as side-by-side seating for two, complete with a portable armrest and cup holders. Underneath the roto-molded seats, ample storage is provided. The split rear seating arrangement on both sides offers versatility, allowing conversion between chaise lounge, rear-facing reclined seat, and forward-facing aft seat configurations. Storage compartments are integrated beneath the rear-facing seats, including a dedicated space for the standard pedestal table, which mounts easily in a flush stainless steel bracket. Additional storage features include a stainless steel drawer and a large compartment on the right side of the stern seating group, as well as a pull-out wastebasket accessible from the companion seat. A convenient changing station is incorporated into the back of the port side seating group, designed to house an optional porta potty.

Helm and Instrumentation

The helm area is equipped with a pedestal-mounted captain's chair positioned on a raised fiberglass platform. The chair features self-leveling armrests, a flip-up bolster for enhanced visibility, and adjustable forward, backward, and reclining positions. The instrument console is comprehensive, including a depth sounder, GPS, tachometer, speedometer, and sea temperature gauge. Control switches, such as those for docking lights, are conveniently located. Across from the captain's seat is a reclining companion seat with self-leveling armrests, providing comfort and ease of communication.

Power and Storage Capacity

The 25 Legacy includes a large center tube storage compartment measuring 90 inches in length, 12 inches wide at the opening, and 18 inches deep, with a maximum internal width of 27 inches. This space is ample for storing mooring covers, wakeboards, and other water toys. While the volume is generous, the review notes a desire for a second access hatch to improve organization and accessibility within this compartment.

Audio and Lighting Systems

The boat is outfitted with Polk speakers positioned at the bow seating area, mid-deck, and on each side of the stern facing aft.
