This 2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX, in beautiful black and gold, has been kept in either an enclosed storage unit or under canvas with side curtains on a boat lift under roof, for the entire ten years that we have owned it. This super clean and gently owned beauty was never left in the water for more than a day. We've moved off the lake and it is time for someone else to enjoy this extremely reliable boat!
This boat has had only two owners and it's easy to tell how well this boat has been cared for. She's been in only freshwater, so you can expect her to be in way better condition than similar boats with even a little saltwater use.
Powered by an Indmar motor, this Malibu VLX Ski/Wakeboard Boat can get you to your favorite spot on the lake at speeds of up to 48 mph.
With the stock Malibu "Wedge" lowered and locked into position, the wake of this boat is big enough to surf, just as is. With built-in ballast tanks under the floor and on either side of the engine in the aft, with the ability to fill or empty each independently from the console with the flip of a switch, you can fine-tune a perfect wake on the fly.
This boat is also equipped with an awesome stereo system with Bluetooth and SiriusXM radio capability, and the Roswell Quad Spin Pro Wake Tower Speaker and Light Bar that will light up the boat and wake and absolutely blast your favorite tunes down and out the back so you can jam-out while carving wakeboard or wakesurf sessions at night. We added a "Zombie Light" under the platform that lights up the wake for those carving sessions at night! There's also a Bimini Top to keep the sun off your back during the summer. And, of course, there are Tower Racks for your boards, too!
And I shouldn't forget to mention the PerfectPass; a "marine precision speed control system" which allows you to pre-set multiple desired speeds for different watersports. That, too, can be adjusted while under throttle.
A Barefoot International Tower Boom is included, and the brackets are already installed in perfect position for either footin' or teaching, right from the side of the boat. For footers: it's easy ups; front or back, with very little spray. If you want, there's an additional 2 1⁄2 feet of extensions that can be purchased on eBay for a couple of hundred bucks, if you feel that you need to be way out in the flats.
Just fyi: the Engine Control Module (ECM) was recently replaced which unavoidably reset the engine hours back to zero. The hours just prior to that were just 494. (Tommy's in Clermont has that on record.) The current hours on the meter are now just 6.8, so there are slightly over 500 hours total on this engine.
