This Beauty is a Beast. Come aboard this Malibu Wakesetter 21 VLX after you admire the strikingly brilliant gelcoat colors of this machine, built with every bit of performance luxury and technological innovation we have come to expect from Malibu.
The fiberglass GRP hull under that gel has the Diamond shaped hull for quicker time to plane. It is powered by an Indmar 6.2L Monsoon 410 Engine that produces 398 horsepower and can reach speeds of 40 MPH as well as produce wakes for the most ardent of wakeboarders.
The helm command center is an electronic marvel keeping up with the rest of the technology of the Malibu. Starting to the captain's left you have the sport dash Rotary dial tactile buttons that control the surf gate and powered wedge and your cell phone holder. The handcrafted bolster dashboard 12-inch HD wide screen for the Viper 2 system which replaces all of the gauges and meters boaters are used to. It is by far and away the most user intuitive and easiest system to use of any boat in this class. The owner loves it! The Malibu touch command system to your right houses all of your auxiliary functions.
The 2017 Malibu Wakesetter 21 VLX offers you the largest bow in its class. Longer, wider, and deeper seating offering security and comfort for 13 passengers on aboard to take control and create fun and joy of the water below them. The Malibu has all the competitors beat in the amount of space that it offers you for all of your hard goods. The plush marine grade vinyl seating over the top has hinges so you do not have to dismantle the seating and wonder where to put the cushions to get to your boards and gear.
The port side storage has a drop-in YETI cooler and a built-in trash can. The starboard side has continuous pass through all the way to the transom; the depth allowing you to put multiple surfboards that's meant for the rest of the group not stored on the tower.
And, for those in your crew who are concerned with where to stow their gear, center to the aft seating is hinged storage perfect for deck shoes and flip flops.
The Malibu is plumbed ready for aftermarket fat sacks so you can add additional ballast to create even more wake. This well and all of the plumbing is integrated into the helm controls so, if added, the tanks will fill automatically and can completely fill the storage unit , throwing the biggest wake you have ever seen.
