If you are in the market for a fast fishing /family boat with a solid hull, that doubles as an express overnighter and has a truly unique and refreshing design, this 1998 Mako Attack 333 is the boat for you!
This Mako 333 is a stylish express console that aims to split the difference between fishing and cruising - something previous Mako designs had never attempted.
Experience power and performance on the water. Power is provided by triple Mercury 275 Verado 4-stroke engines allowing this boat to reach a top speed over 50 MPH and cruise comfortably at 30.
This 1998 Mako 333 Attack is a very open boat with lots of deck space. Built on an aggressive deep-V hull with a 10' 6" beam and a solid fiberglass bottom, the deck layout is divided between fishing and cruising.
A true walk around up front with very easy access to the bow. There you will find a full bow rail with a pulpit. There is a Lewmar power windlass with windlass locker. The foredeck is home to a sun lounger that can be removed to allow for a forward casting deck.
Forward of the console is an L-shaped lounge that provides covered seating for guests. All of the seating areas are dressed in updated brown leather look upholstery with Mako logos. There is also a sink as well as LED lit cup holders and Fosgate speakers with LED courtesy lights.
Forward of the helm and the L-shaped lounger is the entrance to the below deck. Here you will find the Attack's well-appointed cabin with, a modernized galley that includes marble counters, a stainless sink, an Avantco conduction cooktop, a Dometic refrigerator, a Levella microwave, and a separate broiler. In the galley is also the control for the 10,000 BTU AC unit, a Rockford Fosgate Audio head unit, as well as a set of analog gauges for the generator and the control board with all the vessel breakers.
The V-berth has lots of storage and includes a flat-screen TV and the ability to sleep 2 and a separate mid berth sleeps four.
The enclosed head area includes a Vacu-flush toilet, a wet bath with sink and sprayer, mirror, and a medicine cabinet.
The center console helm is updated and includes a stainless wheel center and twin 15" Garmin GPSmap plotter-fishfinder-depth, and radar fill the array. There is also a Raymarine Autopilot, recently installed forward camera, also a newer Garmin XHD2 Radar, Lenco trim tab controls, Mercury smart gauges, Mercury Vessel View, Mercury joystick piloting control, and a Mercury electronic throttle. Up on top of the console are more cup holders and a Ritchie compass. Below is an impressive switch plate that is LED-lit and has all of your accessory switches.
There are two in-floor fish boxes both port and starboard to the console. A tackle center with drawers is to the starboard of the console.
What is even more impressive is the console has a motorized lift to give access to the Phasor 5KW onboard diesel generator. The impressive rewiring is evident here as you will also find the batteries, a Pronautic power inverter charger and of course a bilge pump.
To the aft of the console under the deck sits a 360-gallon fuel tank. The seller had this installed and you can see this included in the photos.
Aft of the console is the leaning post helm seat that like all other seating is draped in brown leather look upholstery with a Mako badge center. There is a footrest as well as rod holders and the seat flips up to accommodate additional storage. The seat also sits on the base of the console and lifts with the console.
To the stern of the leaning post, both Starboard and Port are two more fish boxes. There is also under gunnel rod storage all LED lit as well as a fresh and raw water washdown.
The transom is home to a fold-away bench seat that also gives access to the bilge area and the Garmin through-hull transducer. At the transom, there is a 60-gallon live well with LED lights and also a separator to allow you to section off the well. The seller also has an Armstrong swim ladder as well as a Fortress anchor.
As you walk through the transom door, the integrated swim platform allows enough room to prep and cut fish and bait at the forward-facing station.
To keep you dry and out of the sun this 1998 Mako 333 Attack has a stainless frame bimini top. Up there you will find a radar array, a rear-facing LED spreader light a forward spot, twin VHF antennas, and Rupp outriggers.
