Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with an 9-foot, 10-inch beam, the Mako 284 will appeal to family-oriented anglers who want the go-anywhere versatility and the overnight accommodations of a cuddy cabin. Deep fish boxes are located under the deck, and a stand-up livewell and drop boxes are built into the transom. Thereââ?¬â?¢s plenty of room for electronics at the helm, and the cabinââ?¬â??with its teak trim, enclosed head compartment, standing headroom, mini galley, and aft berthââ?¬â??will sleep four.
