Fishing Features and Exterior Design
The 284CC is well-equipped for offshore fishing, beginning with a thoughtfully designed bait station that includes both high and low rocket launchers, a freshwater sink, and a 50-gallon live well. Adjacent to the bait station are storage drawers sized for Plano tackle boxes and a spacious loading surface. The bow rises about 10 degrees on acceleration, requiring a technique of applying full power to plane quickly before settling into cruise trim. The hull cuts cleanly through waves, remains dry, and settles stern-first when decelerating. Maneuverability at low speeds is equally impressive, allowing for confident docking and tight turns.
