The bow of the Mako 21 LTS features a spacious casting deck measuring 8 feet long by 6 feet 8 inches wide, elevated by a step of 1 foot 3 inches, providing ample room for fighting fish. The stern fishing deck is similarly designed with a 1 foot 1 inch step up and dimensions of 7 feet 10 inches across by 3 feet deep. Vertical rod holders flank each side of the console, complemented by a starboard bow locker capable of storing at least eight 7-foot rods. Additional rod storage includes four rocket launcher-style holders located at the back of the leaning post. The aft deck houses a 30-gallon livewell equipped with a ProAir aeration system. A suggested improvement is the addition of a rubber bumper on the livewell hatch to prevent scratching the fiberglass when it rests on the rod holders.
