They exhibit a good turn of speed and generally outsail the basic charter cats we've become accustomed to.
She's got twin diesel engines, Flexofold props, Linear Drive Autopiilot, Color GPS chartplotter, radar, and VHF with AIS. Double Diamond has a bowsprit to run a Screecher Sail as well as a spinnaker and she's equipped with both. She has easy to deploy and retrive, Schaefer In Boom Mainsail furling system. Great ground tackle, power system including large solar panel array, electric windlass and she's even got an electric winch, for easy and short handed sailing.
She points high when going to windward with her twin daggerboards down and flies on a broad reach with boards up. Her interior accommodations are excellent with the starboard hull as owner's suite with massive owners berth, and port hull has a well equipped galley with an equally large VIP berth. She has two heads plus crew berth.
