2027 Lund Mod Jon 1440M Boat in Milledgeville, GA 31061 US

Meet the 2027 Lund Mod Jon 1440M in Dead Grass Green-a classic jon/utility boat with a fresh, ready-for-anything attitude. This is the kind of rig that doesn't ask for a big production to have a big day; it just wants a launch ramp, a quiet stretch of water, and your favorite excuse to get outside.

At 14 ft (168 in / 4.3 m) long with a 59 in (1.5 m) beam, it strikes that sweet spot between "easy to handle" and "surprisingly roomy." Whether you're hopping between coves, easing into shallow areas, or just cruising with a couple of friends, the Mod Jon 1440M feels purpose-built for simple, go-anywhere fun. The open-top layout keeps everything airy and uncomplicated, and the bench seating setup makes it easy to slide, stow, and settle in without fuss.

Built from aluminum, it's made for real-world boating-days that start early, end late, and sometimes include an unplanned shoreline stop. And because it's light on its feet at 228 lb (103.4 kg) dry, getting it to and from the water can feel refreshingly straightforward.

Bring your crew: it's rated for 3 passengers, with a 780 lb (353.8 kg) weight capacity to help keep the day comfortable and confident. Add power up to a max recommended 20 hp (14.9 kW), and you've got a setup that's eager to move-whether you're making a quick run across a lake or just enjoying a relaxed putt along the bank.

From its practical footprint to that rugged, low-key Dead Grass Green finish that looks right at home in natural settings, the Lund Mod Jon 1440M is all about getting you on the water with less hassle and more good stories.
