Exterior Design and Deck Layout

The 1750 Tyee features a dual console configuration with well-designed windshields that provide effective wind protection without obstructing the operator's view. The helm console is rotocast molded and streamlined with three gauges and conveniently placed rocker switches. Seating includes swivel bucket pedestal seats with lumbar padding and pinchless hinges, as well as additional seating near the aft casting deck for up to four passengers. The cockpit is notably spacious for a 17-foot boat, measuring six feet one inch across with a safe depth of two feet one inch. The boat exhibited a modest bow rise of 8.5 degrees during acceleration, settling into a comfortable 3-degree bow-high cruising attitude. Optional C-Star hydraulic steering significantly enhanced handling with smooth, effortless control and no torque feedback. The hull’s reverse chine design facilitated sharp turns and a smooth ride over waves, emphasizing the boat’s agility and stability.
