2027 Lund 1700 Explorer Tiller Boat in Milledgeville, GA 31061 US

Meet the 2027 Lund 1700 Explorer Tiller, a new Deep V aluminum fishing boat that's equal parts practical and ready-for-anything-and it looks especially sharp in .

At 17 feet long (204 in / 5.2 m) with a confident 93-inch (2.4 m) beam, this rig feels stable when you're moving spot to spot and equally composed when everyone's shifting around to net a fish. The aluminum hull keeps it light and purposeful, with a dry weight of 1,180 lbs (535.2 kg)-easy to manage, easy to tow, and built for the kind of days that start before sunrise and end only when the bite slows down.

Up back, the outboard setup with propeller propulsion keeps the experience straightforward and familiar, with a maximum recommended 75 bhp (56 kW) on tap for dialing in the pace you want. The 20-inch (508 mm) transom height matches the mission: clean, efficient, and ready for the water you actually fish.

This is a boat made for bringing people along, too. With room for 5 passengers and a 1,500-lb (680.4 kg) weight capacity, it's ready for a full crew, a sensible amount of gear, and the kind of "just one more cast" optimism that always adds a little extra to the load. And with a 20-gallon (75.7 L) fuel capacity, you've got the range to explore without constantly watching the gauge.

The layout stays refreshingly open under an open top helm, anchored by a chair at the helm and three fishing pedestal chairs for spreading out and working different angles. When the day pays off, there's 15 gallons (56.8 L) of total fishbox capacity to keep your catch squared away and the cockpit feeling uncluttered.

In short: in , this Lund 1700 Explorer Tiller is a crisp, capable fishing platform with the classic Deep V attitude-built to chase bites confidently and cruise back to the dock with stories worth retelling.
