Constructed on a beamy deep-V hull and a well-flared bow to keep your ride dry, the deep cockpit of the Luhrs 36 is large enough for a full size fighting chair and comes with a transom fish box, a portside transom door, rod holders, a freezer and baitwell, a bait prep center and tackle drawers.
The bridgedeck, a few steps up from the cockpit sole, can be raised hydraulically for excellent access to the engine room. The spacious air conditioned interior, with its beautiful teak woodwork, separate shower stall, full galley, and berths for six, is attractively finished and easily suited for family cruising.

Forward there is a queen size berth, with a hanging locker just aft to starboard followed by the salon. A settee that pulls out to a double berth is to starboard, with a full galley just aft, featuring a Corian countertop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven and electric stove top. Amidships to port is a settee that adjusts to an upper bunk. In addition, there is a removable dinette table for the salon. Immediately aft to port is the enclosed full-sized head compartment with a separate glass-enclosed stall shower. A teak and holly cabin sole with teak woodwork gives the interior a warm and inviting feeling. There is ample headroom and excellent light throughout the cabin.
