This is a 2005 Luhrs 36' Convertible. Experience the perfect blend of offshore capability and onboard comfort with this well-equipped Sportfish Convertible.
Power is supplied by twin Yanmar 6LY2A diesel motors putting out 370 HP each with just 910 hours on them. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 13' 10" beam and flared bow, the 36 boasts a very spacious interior.
The two-stateroom, galley-up floorplan is arranged with a queen berth forward and an over under bunk in the guest cabin to starboard. The galley features a microwave, 2 burner stove, ice maker and refrigerator and freezer.
A separate shower stall is found in the head, and a U-shaped settee / dinette is to port in the spacious salon. The engine room is accessed through a hatch in the salon sole.
One of the top-selling small convertibles ever produced, the breakthrough feature of the Luhrs 36 was her molded flybridge steps in the starboard corner of the cockpit.
Rather than climb a near-vertical ladder, a staircase made bridge access easy - an innovative concept soon picked up by other convertible manufacturers.
