Closely resembling the earlier Luhrs 3400 MY (1990-92), the 3420 Motor Yacht has a larger cockpit and a revised Flybridge layout without the foredeck walkthrough. Hull construction is fiberglass - the same tried and true design first used for the Luhrs 340. Inside the single stateroom floorplan is arranged with the mid-level galley open to the salon. Note that the head is divided with the sink and toilet to port and the shower across the hall.
The salon features a convertible sofa to port and a dinette and settee to starboard. Guest seating is provided forward of the helm console and the aluminum arch was standard. Additional features included oak parquet galley flooring, fishbox; wash down, cockpit bridge overhang, and a swim platform with molded bait well.
