Cons
Weight Limitations: While the boat is designed to be sturdy, its overall weight capacity may limit the number of passengers or gear you can carry, depending on your specific needs.
Basic Amenities: The focus on utility means that the Roughneck Tiller 1660 Deluxe may lack some of the luxury features found in higher-end boats, such as plush seating or advanced electronics.
Tiller Steering Preference: Some users may prefer a console steering system for ease of use, especially in larger water bodies. The tiller configuration may not be suitable for everyone's hardware style.
Limited Speed: Depending on the motor you choose, the overall speed may not match that of more streamlined or higher horsepower models, which could be a factor for those who prioritize speed on the water.
Less Fishing Comfort: While spacious, the design may not cater to comfort-focused fishing trips, as it prioritizes utility and functionality over amenities like cushioned seating or shade.
Initial Cost: Depending on customization options and additional features, the upfront investment might be relatively high compared to entry-level aluminum boats, which could be a consideration for budget-conscious buyers. ### Conclusion The 2026 Lowe Roughneck Tiller 1660 Deluxe is an excellent choice for boaters seeking durability and functionality tailored for fishing and recreational activities.
