The Victory Tug: FUN is the final 37' Lord Nelson Victory Tug ever built, completed in 1989 as hull #76. As the culmination of the series before the builders shifted to larger models, FUN incorporates many design improvements intended for the 41' and 49' versions. Notable enhancements include molded fiberglass decks and cabin tops that eliminate leak-prone screw holes, a more accessible companionway with a full-height folding door, and a redesigned salon layout improving safety and engine access. The pilothouse features a full-width helm console with ample space for modern electronics and a dedicated breaker panel.
Comfort and functionality are further enhanced by a VacuFlush head using fresh water, a separate stall shower, and optimized storage space that includes an inverter/charger in place of a washer. Navigation is supported by a Raymarine chartplotter and backup Garmin GPS. The dual Sea Frost refrigeration system with separate compressors and a sea-debris-resistant cooling method ensures efficiency. FUN also offers long-range cruising capability, consuming only 1.5 gallons of fuel per hour with a range of about 1,000 nautical miles. The tug is equipped with three independent electrical systems for engine starting, generator use, and house loads, ensuring reliability during extended voyages.

- White boot top, red Pettit ablative Hydrocoat bottom paint (no blisters).
- All exterior teak trim is finished in Cetol light and Cetol gloss.
- Exterior teak trim on Pilothouse windows and upper edge trim was refinished in Cetol.
- All interior bulkheads are finished in Benjamin Moore oil base Linen White.
- Teak and SS striker on rub rails.
- Light gray fiberglass decks; bulwarks with teak cap rails (no teak decks).
- Door in starboard bulwark for easy boarding.
- 4 port lights in forward cabin
- All seacock thru hulls were recently lubricated.
- SS ladder from aft cockpit to upper deck to access mast and electric dinghy winch, LPG tanks and storage.

- Borg-Warner Velvet Drive 2.6:1 reduction gear (rebuilt February 2012).
- All cooling water, exhaust hoses, and sea strainers were new 2012 on engine.
- Sendure heat exchanger, new 2012.
- 3 blade bronze 24 x 20 LH prop.

- Espar diesel heater, new May 2012, located in lazarette with new hoses and wiring.

- Rule 3700 forward bilge pump with helm cycle counters.
- Rule 800 aft bilge pump with helm cycle counters.
- Cycle counters at helm for fore and aft bilge pumps.
- Tank gauges for both water and all four fuel tanks.
- Shurflo water pressure pump with accumulator tank.
- Par-Max 4 saltwater wash down pump.

Accommodations
- Varnished teak interior, with a varnished teak and holly sole.
- Owner's stateroom is forward with an offset double berth to port, storage under berth with drawers, and a large hanging locker.
- Enclosed head to port with Vacuflush electric fresh water W.C., marble vanity, and drawers and lockers and a separate stall shower (not usually found on 37' Lord Nelson Tugs).
- To starboard is another large locker with shelves.
- Pilothouse with 360 degree visibility and port and starboard doors to access the deck, a captain's berth which is a perfect perch when underway.
- The helm console has been redesigned for ease of handling with all new electronics and gauges, etc.
- The electrical panels are handy to the helmsman.
- The companionway aft from the helm to the salon is on the port side to provide better engine room access and safer handling for the helmsman
