Daisy IV is Hull Number 9 of 12 Little Harbor 44 Whisper Jets built. She is nicely appointed with all engine service up to date including new electronics in 2023/24. Hinckley JetStick steering system new in 2023, transom door, teak cockpit sole and 25,000 BTU air conditioning system make her a unique and highly desirable yacht. She is powered with twin 420 hp yanmar diesels which provide cruising speeds of over 24 knots Unlike many boats of similar design, her bridge deck offers excellent visibility and comfortable seating for large parties in full air conditioned protection. She is priced to sell and offers are encouraged. Located in Portsmouth RI. Seller will consider trades.
Daisy IV has been modified to be the only Whisperjet 44 with 2 full heads with showers located either side of the companionway going below to the cabin.
The WhisperJet Series features a modern deep-V hull form (designed specifically for jet drives) with an innovative twin chine configuration that minimizes waterline beam for performance and fuel economy and maximizes interior volume for accommodations. In addition, the twin chine eliminates annoying "wave slap" common to many boats while at rest. Dead rise angle is 17 degrees at the transom.
There is a traditional V-berth with filler plus a small settee on the port side in the forward stateroom. A bi-fold door ensures privacy when needed. The forward bulkhead has a pass-through that opens up to the galley. The main salon area consists of a well-equipped galley to port and a dining area to starboard, complete with folding teak breakfast table. At the aft end of the main cabin, there are doors to a split-head arrangement with a sink and toilet compartment to port and a stall shower and cedar-lined hanging locker to starboard including a custom head. Up three steps to the pilothouse, one finds the helm to starboard and the navigation station to port. There is also an L-shaped settee to port with a large teak cockpit table which lowers to form a bed if needed on the bridge deck. Just aft of the helm is a bench which houses the cockpit refrigerator and also has a locker and two drawers. Down two steps is the cockpit with stern bench seat, stainless grab rails and a centerline transom door for access to the swim platform.
