Gatsby is an Edward Monk designed classic motorsailer built by the Lien Hwa shipyard in Taiwan. She is a two-owner enclosed pilothouse that has been well maintained by her owners and boatyards. Gatsby can be sailed or motored at 6 to 7 knots @ 2200 RPM's consuming 7/8 gal. of diesel under average sea conditions. She has a 350 - 400 NM range under sail & power. An especially nice feature of Gatsby is the sails can be raised and furled electrically from the helm. Previously moored in fresh water but has sailed the east coast of the US. The quality workmanship by the Lien Hwa craftsman combined with utilization of today's technology coupled with traditional methods produced a superb handling yacht. Amenities include washer/dryer, TV in the Master Stateroom, fully air conditioned, two station hydraulic steering includes joy stick control.
