A true custom sportfisherman, this L&H Custom 33 walkaround delivers the ride, fishability, and offshore capability that built L&H's reputation. Hand-laid FRP construction, a proven deep-V hull, and a wide-open cockpit make her equally at home bottom fishing inshore or running to the canyons. "Side Job" has been through a recent partial refit and is turn-key for the next owner, with major mechanical, stabilization, and electronics updates already done.
Her twin Cummins 370 HP diesel inboards were rebuilt in 2016, giving the next owner the legs and reliability for serious offshore work without the fuel burn of larger platforms. A 2025 running gear refresh added new stainless prop shafts and a new cutless bearing, with the props refurbished, so the drivetrain is fresh and ready. ZF transmissions and hydraulic steering at two stations round out a well-sorted propulsion package. She carries 300 gallons of diesel. She's also equipped with Seakeeper Ride, delivering dramatically improved underway comfort by reducing bow rise, pitch, and roll automatically. For a boat that runs offshore, it's a genuine difference-maker on the ride home. Topside she fishes hard and runs in comfort. The centerline helm sits under a three-sided bimini, updated in 2024, with a full tuna tower and upper helm station for spotting and sight fishing. The cockpit is clean and functional with a transom door, rocket launcher, and raw water washdown. Up top the electronics package is current and offshore-ready: dual Garmin multifunction displays (2024) running chartplotter, fishfinder, and radar with overlay, plus Starlink (2025) for connectivity well past the inlet. A Fusion stereo with speakers was added in 2025.
A solid, well-equipped custom sportfisher with the big-ticket items already handled. Boats like this rarely come available.
