Ki Zen is number 37 of 52 of the famed TPI Lagoon 42 series that were built in Rhode Island. The yacht was built to ahigher standard than the European version, and the builder used vinyl ester resin to improve strength and eliminateosmosis.
The current owners have lived on and cruised Ki Zen on the West Coast for 14 years, enjoying the Gulf Islands of BC ,the San Juan Islands of Washington, the Channel Islands of California and the sea of Cortez in Mexico.
This cat is comfortable, functional and easy to sail single-handed or shorthanded. The current owners have continuouslymaintained and upgraded Ki Zen with high-end equipment. Ki Zen is off-grid and cruise ready with a newer high capacitywater maker, air conditioning, lithium batteries, solar and a good size diesel generator and heavy duty anchoring gear. Ki Zen has proven to be a reliable, safe and comfortable, cruising and living platform for the current owners. Unfortunately,due to illness the current owners have made Ki Zen available to be loved and enjoyed by new owners.
