Conceived to meet the highest standards, the Lagoon 410 is innovative and traditional at the same time. Naval architects Marc Van Peteghen and Vincent Lauriot Prévost have optimized the 410's performance while providing four double cabins and four independent bathrooms, ensuring everyone's privacy. The standard model includes four cabins and two large bathrooms. The vast galley and living area, which opens directly to the cockpit through a wide, sliding door, maintains the characteristic Lagoon conviviality with a 360-degree vista. The cockpit, well protected by the roof, is the focal point for exterior activities. The portside directly accesses the sea, while the starboard-side table can seat up to ten people. The placement of the helm station at the roof's rear provides a wider view, and by freeing up the rear cockpit, provides more space. In the front, the transverse net provides a superb, secure location for communing with the sea and the dolphins.

This 2002 Lagoon 410 was a charter boat with 9300 hours, no generator, 30AMP shore power, the current owner lived aboard until deciding his boating plans have changed. You will need to put some TLC into the vessel but the engines fire right up and drives were rebuilt when in the yard for new bottom paint and batteries.

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 2002 Lagoon 410 is a popular cruising catamaran known for its spacious design and comfortable sailing experience. Here are some of the key pros and cons of this model:

Pros

Spacious Interior: The Lagoon 410 offers a roomy and well-designed interior with ample living space, making it ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard.

Stable and Comfortable Ride: Thanks to its catamaran design, it provides excellent stability and reduced heeling compared to monohulls, enhancing comfort underway.

Good Performance: While not a racing boat, the Lagoon 410 delivers reliable performance with manageable sail handling, suitable for both experienced sailors and beginners.

Ample Deck Space: The boat features generous deck areas, perfect for relaxing, entertaining, or handling sails.

Multiple Layout Options: Available in several configurations, allowing owners to choose between different cabin and head arrangements to suit their needs.

Easy Maneuverability: Twin engines and a well-thought-out helm station contribute to easier docking and close-quarters handling.

Cons

Moderate Speed: The Lagoon 410 is designed more for comfort than speed, so it may be slower compared to some other cruising catamarans.

Older Design Features: Being a 2002 model, some aspects of the design and onboard systems may feel dated compared to more modern catamarans.

Limited Storage: While spacious, storage can be somewhat limited for very long voyages or for owners with extensive gear.

Maintenance Considerations: As with any older vessel, upkeep and maintenance of engines, rigging, and systems may require regular attention.

Bridge Deck Clearance: The clearance between the hulls (bridge deck) may cause some slamming in rough seas, which can affect comfort.

Made For

The 2002 Lagoon 410 is ideal for sailors and cruisers seeking a spacious and comfortable catamaran designed for extended coastal cruising and island hopping. It’s perfect for families, couples, or small groups who value stability, ample living space, and ease of handling. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor looking for a reliable bluewater cruiser or a leisure sailor wanting a comfortable platform for weekend getaways, the Lagoon 410 offers a versatile and well-equipped sailing experience.
