No Hurricane Damage - hauled out every season

Presently stored safely on the Hard in Beaufort NC

She has been buffed and waxed !!

Ready to Splash and GO....

"Champagne Moment" was commissioned and sailed by her original owners from France to the Caribbean in Dec 2013/Jan 2014.  She was  sailed for 4 months during 2014 and again another four months in 2015. Health reasons forced the original owners to sell her to the current owners who took delivery in the Caribbean in 2015. Since 2015 the current owners have sailed up and down the Caribbean, logging about 13,000 NMâs, over 7 years, then hauling out in Clarkes Court, Grenada. The owners prefer to sail hence the lower engine hours! The boat has returned to the United States and she is at Jarrett Bay, NC.

Ã? ââ?¬Å?Champagne Moment" is bright, spacious and very well ventilated. She is a 3 cabin owner's version featuring her private owner's suite in the starboard hull. Two additional guest cabins and shared head in the port hull, makes for a great boat to share with friends and family. The fridge is large, the two bowl sink and teak serving counter to the aft cockpit make wining and dining a real pleasure.Ã?  She is truly a cruising sailing boat and she is extremely easy for single handed sailing.

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 2014 Lagoon 380 is a popular sailing catamaran known for its blend of comfort, performance, and ease of handling. Here are some pros and cons to consider:

Pros

Spacious and Comfortable Layout: The Lagoon 380 offers ample living space with well-designed cabins, a roomy saloon, and a large cockpit, making it ideal for families or groups.

Stable and Smooth Sailing: As a catamaran, it provides excellent stability and a smoother ride compared to monohulls, reducing seasickness and enhancing comfort.

Easy Handling: The boat is designed for ease of sailing, with manageable sail plans and responsive controls, suitable for both beginners and experienced sailors.

Good Performance: The 2014 model features improved rigging and hull design that contribute to better sailing performance and efficiency.

Shallow Draft: Its shallow draft allows access to shallow bays and anchorages that many other boats cannot reach.

Well-equipped: Typically comes with modern amenities and equipment, enhancing onboard living and convenience.

Cons

Speed Limitations: While stable and comfortable, the Lagoon 380 is not built for high-speed sailing and may be slower than performance-oriented catamarans.

Maneuverability in Tight Spaces: Due to its size and twin hulls, maneuvering in tight marinas can be challenging without experience.

Maintenance Costs: As with many catamarans, maintenance and upkeep can be more costly compared to smaller monohulls.

Interior Headroom: While generally comfortable, some areas of the cabin may have limited headroom for taller individuals.

Resale Value: Lagoon 380 models are popular, but resale value can vary depending on condition, location, and market demand.
