GONE WALKABOUT offers a unique situation for someone looking for a no-nonsense bluewater cruiser. She has had little to no use for the past 7-8 years and is in need of some TLC. Do not let the low price fool you. This boat is NOT a project, the owner simply cannot use her and wants out.
GONE WALKABOUT has always been set-up as a straightfoward self-sufficient cruiser. Lacking complexity, she is easy to maintain, yet provides for extended periods away from the dock. Her paravane / flopper stopper arrangement means comfort aboard, whether underway or at anchor.
Here is your opportunity to experience the proven Krogen hull design in a package that won't break the bank, and yet have everything necessary for bluewater adventures. If your goal is to experience and explore, GONE WALKABOUT fits the bill.
Showings are by appointment.
The Krogen 39' was designed for the cruising couple desiring long range with exceptional seakeeping and sea handling charactistics, economy, the ability to spend extended periods away from the dock, and no-compromise accommodations.
The 39' has a single cabin with an island berth, generous storage, and plenty of natural light and ventilation. There adjacent head has a stall shower, freshwater VacuFlush toilet, and vanity with Corian countertop.
There is a standup engine room that also has a workbench and storage.
The raised pilothouse offers excellent visibility. There are dutch doors port and starboard for easy exterior deck access. There is also a raised settee that converts to a double berth for the occasional overnight guest.
The saloon and galley are bright and airy, and accessed from either the pilothouse or from the aft deck.
The 39' is a very capable open water cruiser, easily managed by a couple or even singlehanded. She is truly your ticket to cruising adventure!
